Ryan and Trudi’s wedding was our second last wedding for this year, and was held over at Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island. It is also the very place where Ryan proposed to Trudi.
These guys have to one of the easiest going couples, Ryan is a bit of a perfectionist and loves things done right, and Trudi is an easy going, funny and laid back woman, which definitely showed on the day of their wedding.
It was a nice intimate wedding with some of their closest friends and family joining them for the celebration. The ceremony was held at Sunset beach with reception following near the poolside at the Atrium.
Ryan & Trudi I loved hanging out with you guys on your wedding day, and documenting it for you both. Can’t wait for you both to receive your wedding album, in the meantime here is a short snippet from your wedding day.
Enjoy!

Teone and Elyshia wanted to have an easy going Ceremony and wanted to escape the busyness of where they live down South, so they both decided to journey it up here where they fell in love with Bamboo Land- The perfect ceremony location (in my opinion)
They both got ready at Akama Resort with their best friends and partied on with their reception being held at the boat Club in Hervey Bay.

Read moreThis week we had Troy and Kim come in to view a beautiful pre-designed wedding album of their wedding day. it has been a couple of weeks since their wedding and it always amazes me to hear every couple say how quickly their day went, and how many moments they had forgotten about, which makes it awesome for them because they get to relive all of these special moments.
I first met Kim roughly 2 years ago at a Bridal expo and since then have photographed both Troy and Kim, and their two boys, Mason and Cohen .It was awesome to spend the day with them again photographing their wedding, and although it felt like it was going to bucket down rain a few times, it all held off leaving us with beautiful overcast skies.
Troy and Kim decided to have their wedding at Bamboo Land which is an absolutely stunning location if you have not seen it yet. They both got ready at Akama Resort with their Bridal Party, and finished the night partying it up at the Waterfront Restaurant for their reception.
Troy and Kim, I can’t wait for you guys to receive your wedding album, it is going to look totally amazing, in the meantime here is a snippet of your wedding day to enjoy.

Read moreRecently I photographed the wedding of Dave and Camila over at the beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort. I met Dave and Cami over Skype about 1 month prior to their wedding and just clicked with them. I love how down to earth these guys are and the love that they both have for each other.
They both live in Sydney and wanted a beach wedding that was small and intimate, Camila also originally comes from Columbia and seeing a Dingoe in the flesh was kind of a bucket list thing for her, so Fraser Island seemed like the best place to get married
I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with these guys, they didn’t let anyone know they were getting married and wanted to surprise their parents with the news.
Dave and Cami, thank you for choosing me to document this special time for you both, can’t wait for you to see these beautiful photos in print.

Read moreRecently i photographed the engagement party of Kurt and Natalie at Susan River Homestead. Close friends and family were invited to what they thought was a celebration of Kurt and Nat's engagement, but little did they know that Natalie and Kurt had been planning a surprise wedding.
As the partying went on throughout the afternoon, Kurt and Natalie slipped away to change into their wedding attire, where they then had their parents come to the room so that they could reveal their master plan.... thank God there were no heart attacks, but definitely raw emotion at the realisation that they were getting married. Guests then made their way to back of Susan River where there was a surprise wedding setup crafted beautifully by the team at "Now and Forever Weddings" Although it poured down rain throughout the ceremony, it had to be one of the most casual, down to earth and beautiful wedding ceremonies that i have had the joy to photograph, and these guys totally embraced the wet weather!
Kurt and Nat, thank you for choosing me to document this special day for you both, super exited for you both to receive your stunning wedding album!

Read moreI absolutely love this time of year- the cold air, calm beaches, the shorter days, and the beautiful sunsets are the perfect combinations for a perfect wedding (in my opinion.... and probably Dave and Nikki's too :)
Nikki and Dave decided that they would both love to have an easy going beach wedding where friends and family could come, relax and enjoy themselves some of the good Winter feels that Toogoom has to offer. They also decided that the ultimate place to tie the knot would be directly across the road from where they live- on "their" beach. The wedding was small and intimate and had a lot of personal touches, even the Arbour was created by Dave from random pieces of wood that were collected from the beach.
The afternoon was celebrated with close family and friends, and even their dog- "Skye" who made a guest appearance in a few of their photos.
Dave and Nikki your wedding was so awesome, and i thoroughly enjoyed photographing this special day for you. Here is a tiny snippet from your wedding day :)

Read moreIt was such an honour to photograph the wedding of Scott and Hannah on the 23rd May 2018. I met Scott and Hannah back in early 2017 and have really enjoyed getting to know this couple over the last year and a half.
They location of the ceremony was held at the beautiful upper Dayman park in Urangan, followed by a beautiful and intimate beach shoot, before heading to the boat club for their reception. These guys were awesome to photograph. Scott kind of has one of those infectious smiles that just make you happy whenever you are around him, he also runs his own business “White Knuckle Knives” where he creates the most awesome custom knives- click the link to check out some of his work! Hannah also has the most beautiful personality, and has a strong love for her family and friends, which was quite evident on the day of their wedding.
Scott & Hannah Thank you for choosing me to photograph your special day, it has been amazing getting to know you both and I can’t wait to get your wedding album to you both. Also a big thank you to all the suppliers involved in making their day perfect- You guys are awesome! Here is a little snippet from the day.

Last week I had Joe and Mel over to view their beautiful wedding day and also design their perfect wedding album. A lot of preparation went into planning their wedding day, so it was super awesome to see it all come together for them both.
Joe and Mel are the perfect case of “Ying and Yang”- they balance each other out perfectly. Joe is this super easy going laid back guy and Mel is such a nice and super organised girl. I know that these guys will make the perfect team and achieve anything that they pursue together.
Both Joe and Mel got ready at Akama Resort in Urangan, where they were also joined with their awesome Bridal party. Joe had his brother (Ricky) as well as his best man (Jason) while Melissa had her Maid of honour (Jessica) and her soon to be sister in law (Missy).
Their ceremony was held at Purnella Park Coach along with their reception. We also headed out to Bambooland for a beautiful intimate portrait shoot, before heading back to their reception at Purnella.
